Holiday Inn San Antonio-Riverwalk by IHG

Wonderful staff and comfortable (Very clean!) rooms. The hotel is in a great location - walk out the back door and you're right on the Riverwalk. There's endless restaurant and entertainment options within easy walking distance (I highly recommend breakfast tacos from Poblano's less than a block away). It's a great place for families or even companies looking for someplace to hold training or meetings. I look forward to my next trip to San Antonio, and I definitely will stay here again. Two things to note: 1) There's are no options for logging into streaming services on the TV. Not a huge issue, but if you can't survive without seeing the latest episode of The Pitt bring your tablet. 2) There's are no USB hubs in the room. Make sure you bring your outlet adapter for charging. Other than that, I hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as I did!

My husband and I spent my birthday/our anniversary weekend here this past weekend! We loved everything about this hotel we got a suite!!! We come often to San Antonio for my birthday/our anniversary and out of all the hotels we have stayed at this one was TOP TIER!! We had a double balcony the rooms where so clean and neat the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel SMELLED so amazing and refreshing. Our room was like a one bedroom apartment very spacious! We will definitely be back and hope to get our same exact room again!!

Location is perfect and service is great. The only problem we had was the tv and remote in the room stopped working together because of connection issues. It doesn’t help that the tv did not have any physical buttons so I had to unplug the whole thing to turn it off. I just don’t get why the tv company would sell a tv like that or the hotel buying tv’s as such. Other than that stay was great.

We had a standard king room facing the river. When entering the room it smelled good and was nicely decorated and looked clean. But after further inspection things just weren’t as clean as I would prefer. I wiped down the bathroom as usual when I stay somewhere and found the counters left brown stuff on my towel as well as the shower doors had not been wiped down. The chrome fixtures had rust and the shower head part that goes against the tile was falling down. I then proceeded to wipe down our room and again my towel was brown by the time I finished with ohone desk, side tables and dresser. Again the lamps are chrome and had rust on them. Service at the hotel was great and front desk staff was very friendly. I didn’t say anything to the front desk about the room cause I had basically already cleaned it and didn’t take pictures. Just note to self I won’t stay there again. The elevators were dirty also. Didn’t look as they they ever cleaned the floors in them or the elevator doors with all the kid handprint and dirt on them. On the riverwalk level it was filthy! There was a table cloth laying in the hall the whole of our stay. As well as random trash and never vacuumed carpet. So sad because this hotel has the potential to be very nice. Just needs a deep cleaning and then keep it clean.

I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk. The location is perfect, right next to the River Walk, which makes walking around the city very convenient and enjoyable. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff was professional, friendly, and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel for both leisure and business stays, and I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel & the staff at the hotel is absolutely amazing. Stay away from the restaurant inside. We’ve tried twice to eat there now & just walked out for the second time after over 15 minutes of waiting for anyone to acknowledge we were there. We finally got a menu, server turned around & walked away. We heard the mixed reviews in the lobby but all were consistent with if you weren’t sitting right on the bar, the service was horrible. We really wanted to give it a shot & patronize the hotel, but it was just ridiculous. Acenar, right around the corner from the hotel is great, service was outstanding & food was on point.

A solid stay. Comfortable, clean and quiet room overlooking the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking on site was easy to navigate. There is a cheaper parking option just across the street at $10 overnight. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar. The location is perfect for downtown and the Riverwalk. In easy reach of a multitude of restaurants, bars and attractions.

Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The balcony on the riverwalk was excellent. We stayed there for our one year anniversary.. the little confusing about having to pay for parking and for breakfast.. a little upset on that. But other than that, it's a great stay.Nice and quiet, very clean.Nice staff. Everything was walking distance..
